Welcome to my substack, an experimental global blog written from São Paulo, Brazil. The focus here is on emerging powers and countries in the Global South.

Stay tuned for regular updates and analysis on international politics, climate change, transnational crime, the energy transition and much more. There may also be musings, pictures and/or videos and interviews with interesting people.

Those of you that have followed me on other platforms, this space will serve as an extension of my work elsewhere. For those that don’t know me, I am a journalist, consultant and general man about town living in the largest metropolis on the American continent.
